When a source returns no useful material

Check the address, accessibility and extracted content before retrying.

Step by step

  1. Check that the address belongs to the intended public feed, page or channel. A private group, login-only page, paywall or browser challenge may prevent collection.

  2. Review the source's latest check and the extracted text in News. A successful connection with an empty or irrelevant extraction still needs attention before generation.

  3. Try the publisher's RSS feed or a more specific public section if available. Do not weaken site security, bypass access controls or supply private browser cookies in a prompt.

  4. Temporarily disable an unreliable source and keep the working ones. If you contact support, share the public address and safe error message, never a password or token.
