Small changes for a more focused day

A thoughtful workspace helps you focus. Start with the lighting, clear away distractions and leave room for the ideas that matter.

LESS REPETITION. MORE DIRECTION.

A workflow that fits the way you work.

Find a thread worth developing

Bring relevant source material into a project and set the writing direction. Use the draft to develop an argument, explanation or update rather than copy someone else's entry.

Keep the entry personal

Set the language and tone, then edit the result. Add your own experience, check quotations and keep a clear distinction between what you know and what the sources claim.

Publish without an extra website

Connect your personal LiveJournal and send the finished entry there. You can create an internal draft before connecting, or use a private destination entry where the integration supports draft mode.

CHOOSE YOUR STARTING POINT

Not every project needs the same starting point.

LiveJournal is your main publishing space

Use Content Factory to prepare longer-form entries for your existing journal. Your workflow does not depend on having a WordPress site or a separate company blog.

Keep review separate from going public

An internal draft stays in Content Factory. A destination draft is a private LiveJournal entry, not a draft in LiveJournal's web editor. Choose the state deliberately before sending.

FROM MATERIAL TO A FINISHED DRAFT

Four clear steps. You stay in control.

  1. Describe the journal's direction

Choose the audience, topics, sources and generation language that fit your journal.

  2. Develop an entry

Create an article draft, adjust its structure and add your own perspective before external publication.

  3. Connect your personal account

Enter your journal username, not an email or URL, and check access. Credentials are stored encrypted; never put them in a writing prompt.

  4. Choose private or public

Review the destination and publication mode. Check the journal and attempt history before retrying an uncertain result.

BEFORE YOU START

Practical answers, without the guesswork.

Can I publish to a LiveJournal community?

Not with the current integration. It is designed for the connected account's personal journal. Do not assume that community membership gives this connection permission to post there.

What does a LiveJournal draft mean here?

It means a private entry on LiveJournal. It is not a saved draft in the website editor. If you want no external write at all, keep the article as an internal Content Factory draft.

What if authentication is blocked?

Check your username and current credentials, then update the connection if they changed. If account protection prevents the API login, stop and ask for help rather than weakening your account security.

Can the platform replace editorial review?

No. Review facts, attribution, quotations and publication rights. The purpose is to reduce preparation and publishing routine while leaving your judgment and voice in control.

Connect the rest of your content workflow.

Use a single destination or combine the channels your project actually needs.

START WITH SOMETHING REAL

Start with a draft you can actually review.

Try your sources and instructions. Publishing and automation come next, once the result feels right for your project.
